Worked very well- for context, the TY I washed was a VelveTY purple bunny with the TY proper name of Dash. Used a wipe as a damp cloth and wettened it a picayune more. I also used a very low power accident dryer on her fur and all her roughhousing dirt was gone, magically! Thank you, and I strongly propose this tutorial!!

never got into them myself. Simply my old loftier school buddy used to collect. Got an adorable panda carry vampire equally a present from my ex boyfriend for valentines day. Never understood why people are then into collecting them (oh well people collect dumber, or fifty-fifty creepier, things) but eh to each their own i suppose. I call back i would appreciate the craftsmanship more if they were made by hand. Nevertheless they are fairly cute. if nothing else i can pass on some of the ones i got as gifts to my niece when she gets a piddling older.

I just accept i simply he is very of import to me, he has long since lost his tag and I tin can't remember his name but I do know he is a beanie buddy series from 1997. A Bengal Tiger if I'm not mistaken, my father got him for me earlier I was born and he has been treated gently for the well-nigh function but he needs a skillful cleaning and his fur unmatted, I'thousand glad I found this because I wasn't certain how to clean him and I didn't want to put him in a washer.

@Zeross4: I tin see how washing a collectible toy would brand you lot hesitant for sure. This is a sure burn way to make clean them up without harming their value, and actually increasing their value instead :)

My kids all play with their beanie babies, and then we didn't keep the tags on them. I put them in a lingerie bag and wash and dry them in my washing machine, but I accept a front loader without an agitator. The steps y'all laid out her are super useful to beanie babe collectors.
