Can Y'all Launder Beanie Babies?

Well-nigh blimp animals and toys tin exist washed in a washing machine, but Ty Beanie Babies should only be surface done, which ways that your adorable, little Beanies must be cleaned by hand.

The Ty tag is ane of the main reasons the surface-cleaning procedure is recommended by the manufacturer. These adorable toys are collectibles, and the tags attached to the caput and rear of the stuffed toys are their main identification.

This is the reason why surface washing is recommended. When cleaning your collectible animals, it is very important to keep the tag dry and intact.

This is the infamous swing or heart tag.

Yous Demand to Protect the Tag

It is very of import to protect your Beanie tag earlier starting the cleaning process. So the first matter you need to do is ensure that your Beanie Baby tag is covered.

I wrap the tags in cellophane to protect them from getting wet during the cleaning procedure, although there are plastic tag covers you can purchase to keep them safe from harm.

Using plastic wrap to encase the tag is a very elementary process that only takes a couple of minutes to complete and helps keep the Beanie Baby tag from getting wet during the washing process.

Can You Put a Beanie in the Washing Auto?

If your Beanie Infant has seen some rough-and-tumble play, has lost its tags, and is very dirty, then you may need to wash your little guy in the washing machine.

You should simply motorcar launder your Beanie Babies if the Ty tags on your toy are lost and y'all are absolutely sure that you practise not want to keep your plush every bit a collectible or in collectible condition.

  1. Place your Beanie in a zippered pillowcase.
  2. Clean in your washing car on the gentle cycle.
  3. Dry on the lowest setting in your dryer.

Tips to Think When Washing Beanie Babies

  • Yous practise non have to wash your Beanie Babies on a regular basis. Only clean them if they have a smudge or are getting a little dusty. Simply wash plush toys when yous deem it absolutely necessary.
  • Remember to protect your tags by either wrapping the tag in cling plastic or using the plastic Beanie tag protector before you begin to clean your Beanie.
  • Remember to printing a dry fabric against your Beanie after washing to help wick away excess moisture.

If you take care of your costly toys, they will last longer and look just as not bad as they did the day you brought them home with yous.
